The Programming sub-team works on the general operations of the rover. We use the physical components provided by other sub-teams in conjunction with the math and theory provided by algorithms to give the rover the ability to move. The movement is usually directed by human commands through various means we develop, but in the case of autonomous navigation, we give the rover the ability to make its own decisions about movement given a goal. Programming works closely with all the other sub-teams as it gives functionality to the pieces they have developed.
