What is the Manipulation Team?

The Manipulation sub-team specializes in designing and implementing the rover's manipulative capabilities. Their core responsibilities include developing and integrating tools and mechanisms for tasks like instrument operation and equipment servicing. They collaborate with other sub-teams to ensure the rover can effectively manipulate objects, often using robotic arms, grippers, and specialized tools. Precision and reliability are paramount to successfully complete tasks requiring dexterity and accuracy, which are critical for extreme delivery and equipment maintenance.
